New Users:

Click on "Register New User" at the bottom of the Main Menu list on the left to enter your information. By registering, your order information is saved, and you can return later to add to your order if it has not been submitted. Your billing and shipping information will automatically be filled in when you checkout. Your credit card information is not saved. You will enter it when you checkout.         

Change Your Information


           You can change your log-in information after logging in by selecting Update My Account from the page that appears after you log in. Once you have created an account anything that you put in your basket will be saved and you can log-in from another computer and add or remove items, as the information is stored on the server, not the computer you log-in on. Always be sure to log-out when you leave the site as, someone else using the computer would be able to change your information.

    We have three easy methods to help you quickly find what you are looking for:

    1. Search by Product Model

      2. On the left column, click on the model  that you want to search. For example, if you want to see parts for a  Beetle® click on the link labeled Beetle®  then type Sedan or Convertible. 

    2. Search by Specific Item

      3. At the top of the page, just type in a one or more word description of the product example  ( brake ) you are seeking and click on Search. to find a part description with the same phrase. Avoid using a (s) at the end of a word ie  ( brakes )    

         

    3. Search by Manufacturer

      4. If you have a product from a specific manufacturer in mind, click directly on the Manufacturer’s icon listed under the Manufacturer Stores on the Main Contents column. If your desired manufacturer is not listed, click on More Stores for additional listings.

      For Bosch® parts enter the part number without any spaces 

      For EMPI® parts enter the complete EMPI part number with (-) dashes.

      For TMI® upholstery products enter the TMI part number without the material and color choice. You will be able to select the materials and colors from the Options List.

      For Volkswagen® parts enter the part number without any spaces, (-) dashes or (/) slashes. You can use OE  VW®  part numbers found  on the part any VW®  parts catalog or RMMW®  catalog or other catalogs that use VW®  OE part numbers also many other non VW®  part numbers found in these catalogs are in our database, enter them as they are they are listed.     

      For West Coast Metric® enter the part numbers found in their catalog with (-) dashes. Replace any (/)slashes with  a (-) dash, ie  113-131-L/R  enter as 113-131-L-R.

    3. To find out when your order will arrive, please consider the availability and the shipping option you desire. Here's how we calculate it:

    Order Picking + Shipping Time = Total Delivery Time

    For example, many items on our site that are in stock and can be shipped the same day if your order is placed before 1:00  Central Time. Some items can are shipped form other warehouses and may be shipped in form 1 to 3 days. Special order items such as upholstery are made to order and take 10 to 15  days before they are shipped.  If you select standard UPS Ground service, your shipping time will be 3 to 7 business days shipping time, depending on where you live. You will be notified by e-mail if the items cannot be shipped  within one business day, and when they are expected to be shipped. Another e-mail will be sent when the item ships with the tracking information.

    We don’t charge your credit card until we ship your order. That would not be fair and we never want you to have to worry that you paid for something that we didn’t ship.

    The total cost of your order is equal to the price of your items plus shipping and handling fees.  Orders shipping in the state of Louisiana will be charged sales tax. In a few other situations, we must charge sales tax as well, but in all cases, we will inform you of whether we must charge sales tax prior to shipping the order and prior to us charging your credit card.

    • To add a part or other item to your shopping cart, click the Buy Now button on any item's detail page.
    • When you're finished shopping, click the Checkout button.
    • Fill out the online order form, including your billing and shipping addresses.
    • Click the submit button to send us your order and you're officially done!

    Action Import Motors will send you an order confirmation via e-mail. You can create an account for you when you place your first order so you won't have to enter all the information again when you order next.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: At this time, Action Import Motors accepts the following payment methods:

VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Visa/MasterCard Debit Card

We can process orders requesting COD, there is $6.00 COD Fee. You will need to have a money order or certified check for the UPS Driver

We do not charge your credit card for an item until it is shipped. All credit card orders are subject to verification and approval by the card-issuing bank. For your protection, credit card orders shipped to an address other than your billing address may require additional verification.

Q: Is it safe to use my credit card?

A: Action Import Motors guarantees that every transaction that you make with us through our web site will be 100% safe. This means that you pay nothing if unauthorized charges are made to your card as a result of shipping at Action Import Motors.

Q: How much do you charge for shipping and handling?

A: We charge a shipping fee based upon the shipment method that you select at Checkout. We currently offer these shipping methods: UPS Ground, Next Day, and Second Day or Three day Select delivery. Truck Freight on items to big or heavy to be shipped UPS. These items will be shipped freight collect, unless other arrangements are made.

Q: Why do you or don’t you charge sales tax?

A: Most states require that taxes must be collected on sales transactions between residents and merchants that are both physically located in that state.

We have a physical  presence, or nexus, in Louisiana.  When we ship orders to residents of Louisiana. We are required by law to collect the applicable state sales taxes and pay them to the taxation authority in the respective state.

Occasionally, we may also be required to collect sales taxes for other states, under certain conditions. Any time that we have a legal obligation to collect state sales taxes, we add the appropriate charges to the order and inform you of such.

Contrary to what you may have heard, there is no moratorium or ban on collecting sales taxes for orders placed over the Internet. The Internet Tax Freedom Act of October 21, 1998 only restricts the states from applying multiple or discriminatory taxes on Internet commerce. In other words, it prevents the states from passing new types of Internet-specific sales taxes, but it does not exempt Internet transactions from previously enacted state sales tax laws. The Internet Tax Freedom Act provides this protection through October 21, 2001.

If you experience fraudulent use of your credit card as a result of shopping on the Site, notify your credit card company in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures. Most companies will either cover all of the fraudulent procedures or hold you liable for a maximum of $50. Should your credit card company hold you liable for any of this $50, Action Import Motors will cover the entire maximum liability for you, up to the full $50. Action Import Motors will cover this liability only if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made at Action Import Motors while using the secure server.
